Trisha's Career Path Led Her From Mumbai to Goldman Sachs

Trisha Agrawal, a Next Genius Scholar turned her dreams into reality of working at Goldman Sachs.

Trisha Agrawal won a Full-Tuition scholarship to Union College, New York as a part of the class of 2023. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a major in Economics on the Quantitative Track and a minor in Data Analytics as well as departmental honors.

While completing her grade 12 at Dhirubhai Ambani International School, Mumbai, Trisha found out about the Next Genius Scholarship Program through her sister, Anoushka Agrawal, who was one of our first scholars and won a Full-Tuition scholarship to Wheaton College, Massachusetts. Inspired by her sister’s life-changing journey, Trisha was highly keen to avail a scholarship and her awareness about it made the process quite smooth for her. When her family found out about her remarkable achievement, they were extremely proud and overjoyed as both the sisters had won Full-Tuition scholarships to colleges in the USA.

According to Trisha, “The last four years have been a roller coaster ride, with many ups and downs, but overall it has been such a worthwhile experience. I was academically challenged, engaged in various club activities, assumed many leadership roles such as President of the Bhangra club and Student Investment Fund, Residential Advisor, tutor, admissions intern, and made some lifelong friends.” To sum it up, her time at Union College transformed her completely as she took up every opportunity that came her way and turned it into something extraordinary by enhancing her skills and remaining proactive.

As for her post-graduation plans, after interning at Goldman Sachs for the last 2 summers, she will join their Asset and Wealth Management division in New York City this July.

Trisha is immensely grateful to the Next Genius team for giving her the golden opportunity to attend Union College. She shared, “None of this would have been possible without your support to bring me here. Thank you for always guiding me, and helping me truly turn my dreams into reality.”

Towards the end, Trisha shared a piece of advice for all the aspiring grade 12 students who will be applying to the program to focus on a ‘good fit’ while selecting a college in Next Genius Level 2. As part of her own experience, she said, “This college and journey was a great fit for me.” To apply for the Next Genius Scholarship Program, visit www.next-genius.com.
