Popularly known as Cuse or SU, Syracuse University is located in the heart of New York state, in the sprawling city of Syracuse. All 22,000+ students who attend Syracuse are passionate, enthusiastic and excited about their future. With an environment of inclusion and diversity, SU offers ample opportunities for everything you would like to pursue. Within Syracuse's 13 schools and colleges, there are 200 majors, 100 minors and more than 200 advanced degree programs to choose from. Undergraduates are offered a variety of study abroad opportunities, including through the school’s overseas centers and programs with partner institutions.

The student-faculty ratio at Syracuse University is 15:1, and the school has 58.5 percent of its classes with fewer than 25 students with an overall undergraduate enrollment of 14,000 students. With fields ranging from energy systems to sustainability to optimizing product design, a degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering prepares students to become leaders in a wide range of thriving industries. Last year, DesignIntelligence ranked Syracuse’s School of Architecture #1 in schools most hired by firms and #4 overall in the US.

Syracuse University has 21 residential halls which over 8,000 students call home. All residential halls are fully equipped with everything you will need to be comfortable and productive. Did you know something astounding about the University? Well, Carrier Dome at SU is the largest domed sports stadium located on a university campus and it is home to the Syracuse Orange football, basketball, and lacrosse teams. Cuse also has its own Symphony Orchestra which operates two youth orchestras in the Syracuse town.

With 300 clubs on campus like sports, gaming, community services, academics, cultural activities and many more, students excel at almost everything and this is one of the greatest hallmarks of the U.S University Education. A sophomore says – “Syracuse is a well rounded school with a little bit of everything. Greek life, sports, great academics, a good reputation, and a beautiful campus; Cuse has everything to offer. At Syracuse you'll get a great education during the week, and a great social life on the weekends. But the social life isn't just for the weekends either; you better expect to be going out on Tuesdays and Thursdays too!”

Syracuse’s spirit and camaraderie are undeniable, and the reason why its education is outstanding is their global engagements and collaborative research. “From academics to athletics Syracuse University is hands down one of the best colleges in the nation! There is a reason why they have been ranked #1 in school spirit by the Princeton Review for three years in a row now. Everywhere you look, you will see a sea of orange. And let's not forget about the world's cutest mascot, Otto the Orange! You will for sure bleed orange for the rest of your life, should you choose to attend this incredible university!” says a junior.
